Distribute Files in LiveRamp to Choozle

If your uploaded files in LiveRamp aren’t showing as processing or ingested, you can now directly distribute them to your destination account from the Segment Distribution section, ensuring seamless population in Choozle.

Steps to Distribute Files to your Account

If you’re a standard or admin user in your LiveRamp account, you can now distribute your uploaded lists to your destination account, and they’ll automatically populate in your Choozle account. Follow the steps below for detailed instructions on how to complete this process in LiveRamp.

  • From the navigation menu in your account, go to Data Out and select Destination Accounts to open the Destination Accounts page. Once there, click the ellipsis then click Manage Settings on the tile of the destination account you want to update, which will take you to the Segment Distribution page for that account.

  • By default, the Destination Accounts page filters to show only active accounts. If you need to access an account that’s inactive, adjust the filter settings accordingly.

  • On the Segment Distribution page, you’ll see a list of available segments. To add a segment to your distribution, check the box next to the segment name.

  • Once you've selected the segments, click ADD TO DISTRIBUTION to start the distribution process.

  • You should see your segments in Choozle within 1-4 days after distribution.

Distribution Automation 

  • Automation setup: When the first file is uploaded for an audience, LiveRamp creates an automation configuration (or “seed”). This file defines the required format—headers, audience key, identifiers, column order, delimiters, etc. Future files will process automatically as long as they match this structure.

  • When manual help is needed: If a new file’s format does not align with the original seed configuration, such as having different headers, required field changes, or delimiter discrepancies, automation will pause and a LiveRamp engineer will need to update or re-map the configuration. The initial upload for a new audience, or any file ingestion errors, will also require manual intervention. If you encounter any of these issues, please contact us so we can either resolve the matter for you or promptly escalate it to the LiveRamp team.

  • Best practice: Keep file formats consistent to avoid interruptions. If changes are intentional (e.g., adding new identifiers).
  • Self Service: You can monitor ingestion in Connect, manage segments, create destination accounts and add segments to distribution.
