      User Profile

      A user profile is a file stored on a user's computer, kept in of the sub-directories under the browser file directory, that is used by websites to record data about the user. 


      Some ad rotation software programs use user profiles to see which ad a user has seen so that a different ad will be rotated into the next page view.
