Query Parameters
Query parameters are typically part of a URL used to associate a value to a variable within a URL's structure and are sometimes set dynamically. When looking at a URL, they're represented after a question-mark symbol and separated by an ampersand symbol. These are common for search function use and on thank you and order confirmation pages (e.g, https://formsubmission.com/thankyou?confirmationID=12345).
Choozle’s Smart Container Tag allows for included query parameters in URL setups like this to be automatically tracked for sites or for conversion events. For any dynamically-filled values, such as orderID or confirmationID, please do not include any specific numeric values after the equals-sign. Because the Smart Container Tag tracks conditionally, it will only function when a the condition is met for one specific instance.
