Language (Browser) Targeting and Optimization Guide

Overview

Choozle supports two language based targeting solutions that help advertisers align creative messaging with the language users are engaging with:

  • Language (Browser) Targeting and Optimization
    Language targeting analyzes the language setting of the user’s device or browser to identify a specific language subset within a larger population. This works well for multilingual campaigns and language specific ad units, allowing you to reach audiences by language spoken in a way that is not typically available through third party data. Once applied to an ad group, impressions are only bid on when the user’s browser or device language matches the selected language. This tactic can be leveraged with no additional CPM.
  • Peer39 Language Targeting and Optimization
    Peer39 Language Targeting uses page level language analysis to match your ads to the language of the page or app content a user is viewing. This is particularly useful in countries or regions where multiple languages are commonly used, or when the language context of the content itself is critical. Peer39 Language Targeting is a paid solution. Additional fees apply, and exact costs will be confirmed by your Account Manager based on your setup and media mix.

Important note: Language Browser Targeting and Peer39 Language Targeting are custom backend implementations. If you edit or clone an ad group, these tactics may fall off.
