CPM

CPM, or cost per one thousand impressions, is a commonly used measurement in online advertising. CPM is used as a benchmark to calculate the relative cost of an advertising campaign.

In the Choozle Data Catalog, CPM is displayed in two ways depending on the partner whom the data is provided by:

  • $ - CPM costs shown in the Choozle platform as a dollar-value are added to the ad serving and ad placement costs to make up the total CPM.
    • Total CPM = Data CPM + Ad Serving CPM + Ad Placement CPM
  • % - CPM costs shown in the Choozle platform as a percentage are added to the ad serving and ad placement costs as a dollar value of the percentage of the ad placement cost.
    • Total CPM = (Data CPM Percentage x Ad Placement CPM) + Ad Serving CPM + Ad Placement CPM
